Job Context:
∎ The position requires to develop a vision and set the strategic direction of the product which aligns with customer needs, business growth, and overall technology. The role of this position requires to lead the Knit Garments Production and ensure best output. It implies to bring sustainable efficiency through identification and elimination of bottlenecks and to ensure optimum utilization of man and machine. The position will also foster and support a continuous improvement and service excellence with a key focus on developing the right mind-set, skills and capabilities of the teams. The Group seeks a talented and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to the efforts to reach the organization`s goal.
∎ We are looking for an experienced, energetic, dynamic and aspiring candidate who will be act as a change agent to accelerate organizational development and overall transformation.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead, develop and overall control of Knit Garments Production for all concerns of Garments Division;
∎ Monitor and integrate day-to-day key production initiatives;
∎ Ensure accurate and optimum production of all garments within the scheduled time;
∎ Manage and maintain the standard and rules and regulations for achieving the required quality garments in term of knitting;
∎ Define the requirements and roadmaps including things as feasibility, time, cost, and impact;
∎ Anticipate production problems and work proactively to resolve them prior to production
∎ Coordinate with managers for smooth execution of apparels production in the factory as per the buyers' specifications;
∎ Constantly guide the teams for ensuring high productivity and quality;
∎ Minimize consumption of resources - raw materials and energy and control wastage;
∎ Improve profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities through integrated planning, information support and analysis;
∎ Update information on technical operations and cost parameters at every stage of the production process;
∎ Ensure line balancing as per layout and effective production schedule with optimum utilization of man and machine ratios (MMR);
∎ Bring a sustainable efficiency improvement by identifying the bottlenecks and initiate necessary measures;
∎ Motivate and inspire the production people to give their best ensuring required quality;
∎ Cost Control/ Rationalization in all areas of manufacturing including utilization of resources;
∎ Daily, weekly and Monthly performance status report preparation and submission to the Management;
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 20 years of relevant experience out of which 3 -4 years should be in similar role.
∎ Should be energetic, dynamic and have strong leadership capability
∎ Capable to handle a large size of knit garments factories located at different areas.
∎ Strong business acumen and exceptional interpersonal and communication skill
∎ Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and all other levels in the factory
∎ Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team
∎ Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
∎ Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
∎ Well conversant of MS Office/Business infrastructure/ERP
Salary: Negotiable
