Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
∎ Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization.
∎ Effectively and efficiency manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer requirements, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible and ensure the required best working practices are maintained at all times.
∎ Communicate and liaise with other departmental managers to ensure production target met.
∎ Attend various meetings and provide instructions/decisions.
∎ Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
∎ Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of workers, staff and visitors.
∎ Manage, coach and develop a high performing manufacturing team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continues improvements.
∎ Report on achievement of targets and identify actions required.
∎ Manage and lead the team, managing recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues and daily supervision to maximize efficient productivity.
∎ Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility
∎ Responsible for achieving budget and forecast.
∎ Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvements of activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results.
∎ Maintain strong relationship with foreign business partners.
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
∎ Liaise and communicate with suppliers and other service providers
∎ Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advice others of any impact
∎ Contribute to new business initiatives and projects
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 60 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Factory level experience with significant proven leadership experience
∎ Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain.
∎ Extensive plant level experience with significant proven supervisory experience.
∎ Technical understanding
∎ Experience of managing profit & loss responsibilities for manufacturing
∎ Understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain
∎ Excellent leadership and management skill
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill
∎ Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
∎ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English
∎ Excellent organizing and follow-up skills
∎ Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
∎ Ability to make good judgment and take quick decision
∎ Proactive, confident, relevant, optimistic and open to change.
