Educational Requirements:
∎ Professional qualification as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or any such qualification or Business Administration (MBA), Bank Management (MBM), or Post Graduation in Economics, Accounting, Finance.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the delivery of effective financial decision-making support to the business and its management and oversee the development and execution of an effective financial strategy to achieve optimal returns on investment.
∎ Initiate and co-ordinate the formulation of business plans and annual budgets, and engage management, executive committee and the appropriate Board Committees to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections for the Company as well as monitor progress towards their achievements.
∎ Develop and implement a sound accounting framework in compliance with statutory provisions.
∎ Develop and implement a robust and reliable financial reporting system in compliance with statutory requirements and ensure legal and regulatory compliance with laws and regulations.
∎ Ensure that the annual financial statements and statutory reports are prepared timely, accurately and in accordance with standards and regulations.
∎ Monitor and control revenue and expenses (op-ex, cap-ex, provisions and taxation) to ensure operational and financial efficiency.
∎ Develop and manage key relationships with relevant external bodies/contacts e.g. regulatory organizations, auditors, other banks and financial institutions etc. to facilitate effective operations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in any Bank or NBFI with at least 03 years of experience working with Taxation or Accounts
