Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.
∎ Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement.
∎ Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
∎ Train and develop the finance team to be able to apply and execute financial policy and accounting procedure manual of Express Insurance Ltd. in an efficient manner.
∎ Initiate review of financial policy and accounting procedures in light of ERP application & dynamism.
∎ Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization
∎ Ensure that all information required for the purpose of auditing is available and institutionalizes the resultant Management comments.
∎ Administer budgets of Express Insurance Ltd. and analyzes variances accordingly.
∎ Introduce cost accumulation mechanisms whereby to determine prices of service products with due consideration of market value.
∎ Prepare operational and risk reports for management analysis.
∎ Ensure the finance team is effectively managed and with an emphasis on empowerment, accountability, continuous improvement, productivity and business objectives attainment.
∎ Evaluate the performance of the finance team fairly & rationally and identify and develop potential successors.
∎ Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with all partners that have direct or indirect financial stake.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age between 35 and 45 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Insurance or Banking Sector
∎ Experience in same duty in Non-Life Insurance Sector will get preference.
