Position : CAD Operator / Cutting Master

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate CAD patterns and markers according to buyer specs and size charts

• Develop, modify, and grade patterns for bulk and sample production

• Create efficient markers to optimize fabric consumption

• Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams

• Ensure cutting plans follow order quantity, fabric width, and shrinkage

• Supervise cutting process to ensure pattern accuracy and quality

• Maintain digital pattern libraries and version control

• Resolve pattern and cutting-related issues during production

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD / Cutting Master in garments or apparel industry

• Strong knowledge of CAD software (Lectra, Gerber, Optitex, etc.)

• Good understanding of pattern making, grading, and marker making

• Knowledge of fabric behavior, shrinkage, and cutting techniques

• Ability to read and interpret tech packs and measurement sheets

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to meet deadlines under production pressure

• Improve marker efficiency to reduce fabric wastage

• Regular training on latest CAD software updates and features

• Enhance understanding of new fabric types and sustainable materials
