Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ As the Manager of the CAD department, you will provide for the purpose of costing, achievable sets of consumption mini-marker and their targeted consumption.
∎ From technical packs, sketches or samples, and measurement charts, you are able to create new master patterns that meets the required fitting and measurement specifications.
∎ Using pattern making software LECTRA, GERBER, OPTITEX or similar, you are able to draw details on outlined parts to indicate where parts are to be joined, as well as the positions of pleats, pockets, buttonholes, and other features and are able to execute sets of graded patterns.
∎ You are able therefore to recommend the best markers on feasible fabric widths that meet the required size ratios.
∎ You will identify, coordinate and resolve pattern corrections/problems with Sample Makers.
∎ With your understanding of garment sewing construction, you will identify and propose changes to the garment construction or style at the Pre-Production stages as may be required.
∎ You will be required to provide technical support on pattern and marker making to the production team as may be necessary.
∎ You will be responsible to build a team of professional pattern makers.
∎ You will maintain timely filing of soft copies and paper patterns.
∎ You will keep statistical data on consumption and marker efficiency.
∎ You shall be able to challenge factory patterns and marker consumptions as necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in large knits garment factories
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Energetic, willing to take up challenges, with a positive mind-set
