+3 years in Fabric Research and Development for Knit products

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Align with Product Development Manager in sourcing and developing fabrics to meet design vision, merchandising requirements and corporate goals
∎ Promote innovation, take appointments with fabric mills for constant fabric research and development
∎ Communicate effectively and consistently with all key cross functional partners on fabric development and related issues
∎ Maintain databank on yarn development, fabrics development and its technical sheets
∎ Maintain an updated fabric library and build fabric archives
∎ Build and maintain seasonal binders for on Fabric Research & Development
∎ Propose fabric trends to cross functional team
∎ Build seasonal concept packages for categories
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve fabric development and bulk issues
∎ Proactively manage sample yardage with fabric mills
∎ Maintain fabric mills databank on machinery, production capacities and capabilities
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong technical knowledge of yarns, fabric construction, knitting techniques
∎ Strong technical knowledge on Quality Assurance processes for Knitting, Fabric Dyeing, Fabric Finishing
∎ Technical knowledge / Quality Assurance processes for Screen Printing
∎ Ability to analyze seasonal data
∎ Ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities
