Job Context:
∎ Indesore Group is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst/ Developer. The Business Intelligence Developer, is responsible for preparing and analyzing data, building Dashboard reports, and visualizations, and interpreting results to generate organizational insights and facilitate decision-making.
∎ Department: Information Technology
∎ Report to (Direct): Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze data and build reports and dashboards using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL Server Reporting Services
∎ Work with the Business Systems Analyst and the BI Solutions Architect to develop business requirements and documentation using industry-standard best practices
∎ Build, Maintain, monitor, and improve existing reports, metrics, and dashboards.
∎ Develop test plans to validate dashboard and report data
∎ Perform ad-hoc analysis supporting special projects.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics is preferable.
∎ Proficient in SQL and Transact-SQL
∎ Must have programming knowledge.
∎ Expert-level knowledge of the capabilities of industry-standard BI Tools, such as Tableau and Power BI
∎ Proven data analysis
∎ Experience with data warehouses
∎ Understanding of business intelligence and data governance concepts and technologies
∎ Ability to analyze, understand, and document complex business processes and their underlying data
∎ Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills-experience working with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.
∎ Business Communication and presentation skills
