Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, Marketing, International Business, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in business development, remittance, banking, fintech, digital financial services, payments, or a related financial-services sector.
Strong knowledge of global remittance and cross-border payment ecosystem.
Demonstrated experience in managing inward remittance, international money transfer, mobile financial services, cross-border payments, or digital payment solutions.
Proven experience in developing and managing partnerships with banks, Money Transfer Operators, fintech companies, payment service providers, correspondent institutions, and international financial organizations

Business Development Lead, NRB Business is commercially astute and digitally capable business leader with extensive experience in remittance, banking, fintech, or cross-border payments. The candidate should combine strong partnership-development capability with sound regulatory judgement, technological understanding, analytical ability, and proven experience in delivering sustainable revenue and transaction growth.
What You Will Do
Lead the end-to-end inward mobile remittance business, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and adherence to approved SOPs.
Develop and manage partnerships with local banks, global money transfer operators, fintech companies, payment service providers, and international financial institutions.
Identify new remittance corridors, strategic partners, and market opportunities to drive transaction growth, revenue, and market share.
Manage the complete partner lifecycle, including negotiation, due diligence, contracting, technical integration, launch, performance monitoring, and relationship management.
Coordinate with Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Customer Service, and Marketing teams for seamless service delivery.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, AML/CFT guidelines, KYC requirements, sanctions screening, and transaction-monitoring controls.
Liaise with regulators, partner banks, and internal stakeholders regarding audits, regulatory reporting, compliance reviews, and policy implementation.
Develop joint marketing, customer acquisition, promotional, and corridor-specific growth initiatives with international partners.
Monitor transaction volumes, corridor performance, partner productivity, revenue, customer behaviour, and operational KPIs.
Prepare business proposals, management reports, dashboards, market analyses, and strategic presentations for senior management.
