Responsibilities & Context:
Plan, organize, and manage the cutting section to ensure smooth operation.
Ensure fabric consumption, marker efficiency, and fabric utilization.
Supervise fabric laying, cutting, numbering, bundling, and issuing as per production plan.
Ensure proper quality control in cutting (shrinkage, shade, grain line, defects, etc.).
Monitor manpower allocation and machine utilization for maximum efficiency.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, and Production teams to meet shipment deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of fabric in/out, consumption, and wastage.
Train, guide, and motivate cutting team members to achieve targets.
Implement 5S, safety, and compliance requirements in cutting section.
