Responsibilities & Context:
∎ *Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years in quality control and assurance within the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector and Buying house.
∎ *Leadership: Proven track record in leadership roles, demonstrating the successful implementation of effective quality management systems.
∎ *Quality Standards & Certifications: Extensive knowledge of quality standards, coupled with hands-on experience in acquiring and maintaining industry certifications.
∎ *Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, essential for quality control and assurance.
∎ *Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, consistently ensuring high-quality outcomes.
∎ *Technical Knowledge: In-depth expertise in quality control processes, standards, and methodologies tailored for outerwear.
∎ *Garment Expertise: Advanced understanding of garment construction and fabric properties, specifically for outerwear materials.
∎ *Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build strong working relationships.
∎ *Quality Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement the quality strategy for outerwear, aligning it with company goals and international standards.
∎ *Quality Control & Assurance: Manage end-to-end quality checks from raw materials to finished products, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.
∎ *Team Management: Lead and mentor the quality team, fostering continuous improvement and accountability.
∎ *Process Improvement: Identify and address improvement areas within production, implementing preventive measures to reduce defects.
∎ *Client & Supplier Relations: Serve as the main contact for quality-related communications with clients and suppliers.
∎ *Compliance & Reporting: Oversee adherence to safety and environmental regulations; generate regular quality metrics and corrective action reports.
∎ *Audits & Certifications: Coordinate audits and maintain all relevant quality certifications for outerwear production.
