∎ Diploma or formal training in Customs, VAT, or related fields will be given preference.
∎ Diploma or formal training in Customs, VAT, or related fields will be given preference.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Operations regarding HS code, Customs Act, Import Policy, Bond formalities and other related laws applicable for Import.
∎ Strict monitoring with C&F agent to expedite the customs clearance of the import consignment from Chittagong sea port and Dhaka airport within shortest time.
∎ Familiar with custom rules, import policies, & SROs and import related web portal's
∎ Having sound knowledge about the proper HS code of the imported items.
∎ Making correspondence with supplier to keep follow up about the import consignment.
∎ Must have good knowledge on LC clause, Incoterm and foreign exchange policy.
∎ Handle all Bond License-related matters, including: Obtaining new licenses.
∎ Renewal and modification of existing licenses.
∎ Preparation and renewal of General Bond documents.
∎ Renew and maintain all necessary company licenses in a timely manner.
∎ Prepare for and confidently face Customs audits and preventive officer visits.
∎ Maintain and update the In-Bond and Ex-Bond registers regularly in compliance with Customs regulations.
∎ Ensure issuance of UD in BGMEA online system.
∎ Make UD consumption for Fabrics, Accessories
∎ All Kinds of certificate issuance from BGMEA.
∎ And BGMEA related all kinds of work to UD for Jacket/Sweater Garments.
∎ Should have adequate knowledge of Asycuda world system, & HS code, Customs Act, and Bond formalities.
∎ Prepare yearly import and export statements in alignment with UD (Utilization Declaration) and audit requirements.
∎ Draft audit notes sheets and liaise with audit teams accordingly.
∎ Carry out other duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
