Responsibilities & Context:

1. Responsible for all quality control activities related to civil construction works.

2. Ensure construction activities are performed according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.

3. Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents, Method Statement, Checklist, RICF (Request for Inspection Check Form), NCR (Non-Conformance Report), ITP (Inspection and Test Plan), Daily quality report.

4. Coordinate with Client, Consultant, Subcontractor and Site Teams regarding quality issues and inspections.

5. Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project quality standards and procedures.

6. Carry out material inspections and verify material quality according to project specifications.

7. Conduct concrete inspection, slump test, cube test and other related quality tests.

8. Identify defects/non-conformance issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

9. Maintain proper documentation for inspection requests, approvals and quality records.

10. Review drawings and coordinate with construction team for quality implementation.

11. Ensure proper execution and finishing quality of all civil works.

12. Support project management in achieving project quality objectives.

13. Maintain all QA/QC procedures, standards and compliance requirements.

14. Other related duties assigned by the line manager.

15. Concrete Works, Structural Works, Pipeline Works, Finishing Works, Material Knowledge.

QUALIFICATION / SKILLS:

1. Strong knowledge of construction technology and site quality control.

2. Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspection process and documentation.

3. Knowledge of concrete works, finishing works and structural inspections.

4. Familiarity with project specifications, method statements and quality standards.

5. Good communication and coordination skills.

6. Ability to identify site quality issues and implement corrective actions.

7. Strong reporting and documentation capability.

8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inspections.

PRIORITY CONDITIONS:

1. Experience in Chinese company/project will be preferred.

2. Experience in Mega Projects or Municipal Engineering Projects will get priority.

3. Experience in industrial, infrastructure or large-scale construction projects preferred.

SOFTWARE SKILLS:

1. AutoCAD

2. MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

3. QA/QC Documentation & Reporting

4. Basic Knowledge of Project Planning Software will be an advantage
