Job Context:

∎ We are looking for Asst. Officer/ Officer (Shift Miller) for Akij Flour Mills Ltd., Bandar, Narayanganj

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Able to assist Head Miller in running daily Mill production operation in a continuous and proper manner.
∎ Ensure proper operations of all wheat cleaning, conditioning and milling machineries/ equipment according to operation manual.
∎ Carry out wheat milling process.
∎ Prepare for changeover of different flour brand by changing to correct type of wheat to be used with correct grist percentage.
∎ Ensure flour milled is filling into the correct Flour Silo/ Bins.
∎ Carry out product sampling by following Sampling Instruction. Upon instruction from Head Miller, carry out Break Release Test on rolls grinding and set rolls' gap.
∎ With assistance from Contract cleaner, maintain good housekeeping in all controlled areas especially to prevent any contamination to the products.
∎ Ensure spilled wheat / stocks are clean up accordingly. Ensure working area is well kept and cleaned at all time.
∎ Carry out maintenance, servicing, repairing, cleaning of plant and clearing of blockage / spillage during normal operation and maintenance stoppage with assistance from silo Technician and Contract Cleaner.
∎ Execute any other responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time.
