Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for competent personnel for the post of "Asst. Manager/Manager- Warehouse" for a reputed textile manufacturer. The incumbent must have initiative, experience & the drive to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly and coordinate with procurement and production departments to replenish stock as needed.
- Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Plan and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of textiles materials and finished products.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage configurations to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and productivity.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of textiles materials and finished products.
- Conduct regular inspections of stored items to identify any signs of damage or deterioration.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality-related issues promptly.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or safety concerns promptly.
- Provide training to warehouse staffs on proper handling techniques and safety procedures.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Any others task as assigned by the management.
