Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for competent personnel for the post of "General Manager- Maintenance & Utility" for a reputed textile manufacturer. The incumbent must have initiative, experience & the drive to deliver high-quality results.
- Developing and implementing maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Leading a team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and supervisors to execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Managing the maintenance budget, including forecasting and controlling costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborating with production, engineering, and quality assurance departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and overall departmental performance.
- Providing leadership and mentorship to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of utility systems including Boiler, Generator/power distribution, HVAC, ETP, WTP and waste management.
- Implement energy conservation initiatives to reduce consumption and environmental impact ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
- Any others task as assigned by the management.
