  • Experience on RBS related activities (Operational arrangements, Supervisory engagement and Regulatory Reporting etc.) will get preference.

  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and tools.    

  • Proficiency in risk reporting systems, dashboards, and analytics tools.      

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).       

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.       

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.       

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under pressure.      

  • Knowledge of business continuity planning and crisis management is a plus.     

  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changing risk landscapes.

  • Requirements may be relaxed for relevant and experienced candidates.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Identifying gaps/risk by using various risk management tools e.g. KRI, Thematic risk review, regulatory risk review, forward looking risk discussion, risk control review.

  • Having sound practical knowledge on risk Management reporting e.g. Stress Testing, BASEL, ICAAP, CRMR, recovery plan among others.

  • Coordinating Executive Risk Management Committee (ERMC)

  • Liaison with different stakeholders for risk information, risk decision and risk remediation.

  • Identifying and managing risks in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders of the bank and prepare a risk pack and facilitate the risk forum.

  • Identify and develop a Risk Ownership culture across the board.

  • Facilitate to share of the best risk management practices across the organization.

  • Assist the Divisional Head in conducting risk-based awareness sessions, workshops & training for existing staff & new joiners, including team members.

  • Take the initiative upfront to complete the review of an existing policy, PPG, and Process manual from the respective ownership side.

  • Review the policies, process and provide feedback on time on risk aspect.

  • Prepare risk paper on new policy/process notes or any other issue assigned by the Divisional Head

  • Coordinate with other departments to prepare functional specifications with regards to risk control and monitoring.

  • Initiate and coordinate process development or any kind of automation to enhance efficiency within the team.

  • Provide overall support in implementing and maintaining the Risk-Based Supervision (RBS) reporting framework as per Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
