Educational Requirements:
∎ LL.B (Hons) and LL.M from a reputed university with added work experience in a prominent law chamber on documentation and litigation matters;

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Vetting land documents and prepare legal opinion through scrutiny of property documents;
∎ Checking legal opinions, title searches, legal notices, plaints, petitions, etc. drafted by the bank's external counsels;
∎ Maintaining liaison with the stakeholders of the bank including panel lawyers, and other departments of the bank;
∎ Assist in scrutinizing the legal and title searches of property documents;
∎ Drafting and reviewing loan documentation including mortgage deed, power of attorney, tripartite agreement, etc.;
∎ Provide legal opinions to various departments in cases of various operational and day-to-day legal issues;
∎ Any other duties and responsibilities from time to time given by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in loan documentation at a reputed law firm/bank/NBFI;
∎ Sound Knowledge in loan documentation;
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills;
∎ Good communication skills (both written and verbal);
∎ Analytical and decision making skills;
∎ Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, a team player, and capable of meeting deadlines.
