Responsibilities & Context:

Green Delta Insurance PLC is seeking a talented and experienced Assistant/Deputy Manger to join our Finance and Accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

Record Keeping and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.

  • Organize and manage all financial documents, including deposit instruments such as FDRs, private and government bonds.

Bank Reconciliation

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly

Payment Process Management

  • Handle and process payments through various methods including cheque, BEFTN, RTGS, pay-order, and other applicable channels.

  • Ensure timely disbursement and accurate processing of payments while adhering to company policies.

Payable and Receivable Management

  • Monitor and manage accounts payable to ensure timely payments.

  • Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely collection of outstanding dues.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare and deliver management reports with insights into financial performance and status.

  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports as per compliance requirements.

Investment Management

  • Prepare necessary documentation for creating fixed deposit receipts (FDRs), bonds, and other investments.

  • Facilitate the transfer of funds for investments and ensure proper recording of transactions.

  • Collect and manage investment documents, ensuring they are securely filed and easily accessible.

  • Review and verify income calculations for investments, including FDRs and bonds.

  • Track maturity schedules and provide periodic updates on investment performance.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain effective communication with banks and other financial stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

  • Address queries and resolve issues related to financial transactions or processes.
