Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Duration of Contract: 6 month with possibility of extension
∎ Duty Station: MHIBD COX`s Bazar Office with travel to Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh where necessary
∎ Reporting: Programme Coordinator Cox`s Bazar with direct collaboration with Senior Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Implementation

∎ Assist PC in program planning budgeting and implementation;
∎ Support the PC to develop and formalize new interventions
∎ Support the PC to develop project implementation plans, budget and financing plans.
∎ Work with the PC to identify new programming opportunities, joint implementation mechanisms and initiatives and mobilise resources
∎ Daily monitoring of the field interventions, and assist PC in securing funding for new interventions in support of Rohingya Refugees particularly women children;
∎ Facilitate and support capacity building activities for field staff and stakeholders;
∎ Assist PC and assume the responsibility of preparing project progress reports, conduct feasibility studies for new interventions and liaise with project beneficiaries inside the camps to ensure their needs are reflected in project implementation
∎ Ensure well organised filing and records are kept for each project
∎ Assist APC to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, MHIBD programme and financial management policies, procedures and audit requirements.
∎ M&E

∎ Monitoring interventions with partners and community organizations;
∎ Assist the partners' staff with the collection of high quality data for M&E;
∎ Assist in writing monthly reports, field reports, and conducting parent and child satisfaction studies;
∎ Maintain project files;
∎ Prepare monthly success stories and photos, and support improved knowledge management, including building proper M&E practices and evidence-base feasibility;
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the APC or SPM.
∎ Liaison and Coordination

∎ Facilitate and serve as focal person for external and internal coordination with all major stakeholders including local authorities, international and national partners, lead coordination agencies involved in Rohingya and other related interventions
∎ In the absence of APC attend Inter-Sector Coordinator Group (ISCG) meetings and other coordination meetings the local areas
∎ Assist PC and when required directly liaise with international partners, donor representatives, local authorities and other main stakeholder
∎ Liaise with the beneficiary representatives to identify needs and priorities
∎ Identify and work with women groups to develop women and children focused initiatives
∎ In collaboration with PC and SPM liaise and negotiate with local authorities to pave the way for implementation of the projects.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by PC and SPM

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 2-3 year of successful experience in project implementation with reputable International or national NGO. Experience of Working with Rohingya and similar intervention will be highly desirable
∎ Hands-on experience in report writing, analytical pieces desirable;
∎ Knowledge of Bangladesh administration systems and legislation desirable;
∎ Fluency in verbal and written English is mandatory.
