Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Assistant Officer - MEAL is one of the frontline staff of the MEAL team in the Community Services project.
∎ The position is mainly responsible for process monitoring including conducting PDM and evaluation including needs assessment and relevant study
∎ Assisting accountability team through awareness raising
∎ Collecting accountability data from real settings and also involving into the implementation of other approaches (i.e child-friendly)
∎ Supporting sector-level MEAL Managers for effective Information Management, Monitoring and Evaluation
∎ And last but not the least, conducting and participating in community meetings to close the accountability feedback loop.
∎ The role is versatile and the incumbent often rotates from task to task and activity to activity depending on the needs of the program and its various awards, ensure that the organisation documents and learns from its experiences in the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 02 years' working experience in database and/or information management and/or MEAL function in humanitarian response program
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian compliances and humanitarian response operation modalities
∎ Previous experience of working with children and understanding of child-friendly methods
∎ Demonstrated experience with digital data collection tools
∎ Sound knowledge on database management, KOBO and MS Office Packages
∎ Enthusiasm, motivation, self-confidence, and a proactive approach in problem solving
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation skills and can work as part of a team
