Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma or equivalent in Computer Technology from any reputed Polytechnic institute
∎ OR
∎ Bachelor of Science degree in any discipline.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning.
∎ Ensure network connectivity throughout a university's LAN/WAN infrastructure.
∎ Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency).
∎ Installing UTP cable, modular, faceplate for structured cabling.
∎ Identifying issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
∎ Installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating system and applications.
∎ Configuring and troubleshooting network both LAN and Wi-Fi.
∎ Network installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
∎ Update documents day to day and support related operation.
∎ Any other IT task assigned by superior.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ At least 02 years of proven working experience in IT sector, preferably in the university sector.
∎ The applicant must be CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certified with proven working experience.
∎ The applicant should have experience in the following areas:
∎ Network Technician
∎ Experience on Windows, MAC and Windows Server Platform
∎ Strong knowledge with network Layer2/Layer 3/BGP/VLAN/STP/RSTP//VRRP and Networks Troubleshooting.
∎ Knowledge of RHCSA and AWS will be an advantage.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ CompTIA A+ certification will be an added advantage.
∎ The applicant having RedHat certification / course completion with related working experience will get an added advantage.
∎ Good interpersonal - communication skill to deal with people at all levels.
∎ Age Limit:25-30 years; Age limit may be relaxed for the highly experienced and competent candidates.
Salary:
∎ Salary Scale: 11,200-1,350x15-31,450 + other allowances. Initial Gross Pay = Tk. 20,720.
Other Allowances mean 65% House Rent + 10% Conveyance + 10% Medical Allowance
Higher initial pay may be offered to highly experienced and competent candidates.
