• Age 30 to 45 years

• Strong computer and merchandising skills.

• Proven ability to do garment costing independently.

• Fluent in English (spoken, written, and listening).

• Ability to prepare professional reports and correspondence in English.

• Strong decision-making ability under critical situations.

• Sound knowledge of apparel manufacturing and retail.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Job Responsibilities & Context:

• Manage the merchandising process from product development to final shipment.

• Prepare accurate costing sheets and analyze cost competitiveness independently.

• Source quality materials at competitive prices and obtain supplier quotations.

• Negotiate prices, confirm orders, and follow up with buyers for approvals.

• Monitor sample development, fit, pre-production, and production samples to ensure buyer requirements are met.

• Communicate with buyers for technical clarifications, approvals, and updates.

• Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A) plans and ensure on-time execution.

• Coordinate closely with production, quality, planning, and commercial teams to ensure timely shipment.

• Maintain weekly progress reports and update management on production status or exceptions.

• Handle buyer accounts independently from development to shipment.

• Supervise and coordinate daily merchandising activities and sampling schedules across manufacturing units.

• Support product development and sampling programs with strong follow-up.

• Ensure on-time delivery in line with approved production schedules and buyer timelines.

• Use advanced Excel tools (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) for reporting and planning.

• Continuously learn, improve, and support team merchandising functions as required.

• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
