B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from a reputed university.
Bachelor in Apparel Merchandising from a reputed institutions.
Preferably experience in working with a reputed Apparel Brand.
The applicants should have experience in the Retail Business area.
Proven working experience in merchandising.
Should have sound knowledge of all kinds of Knit Fabrics.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices.
Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills.

US-Bangla Footwear Ltd. (Vibrant) is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and proactive employee for the vacant position of the Apparel Merchandising Department, who can work independently through shrewd planning, developing products as per market trends, intelligent purchasing, and sensible promotions. The primary goal is to maximize profit for the company.
Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer’s expectations and company’s objectives.
Analyze sales figures, customer’s reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
Identifying and selecting reliable suppliers for fabrics, trims, accessories and negotiating prices and terms with suppliers.
Outlet visit and Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory.
Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets.
Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
Prepare business plan as per distribution channel and merchandising categories including OTB (Open to Buy) analysis & season wise budget planning.
Production follow-up & Quality inspection, ensures that production standards are met and maintained for a given product before it leaves the place it’s manufactured in.
To establish a solid backward linkage by developing different vendors for producing and supplying products as per needs both from locally and internationally.
Any other work as assigned by the management.
