Network Engineer/ Network Administrator
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
ISP, IT Enabled Service
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Deep knowledge of routing protocols and technologies.
∎ Carrier/Enterprise grade Router/Switch administration experience (Multiple Hardware OEM).
∎ Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in TCP (internals and flow control), UDP, DNS & DHCP.
∎ Experience with protocols and technologies such as STP, PVST, First Hop Redundancy Protocols, EtherChannel, QoS, NTP, 802.1x & NetFlow, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, PBR, IPv4, IPv6, L2VPN, L3VPN and other advanced LAN/WAN technologies and concepts.
∎ Candidates should also possess past experience with IPSec / Remote Access VPN technologies , Firewalls, Wireless (802.11x) & IT security best practices.
∎ Experience with provisioning IP transit capacity and building international MPLS networks.
∎ Experience designing, deploying, and operating a high quality multi-pop IP network.
∎ Extensive experience monitoring IP traffic and debugging routing issues.
∎ Experience in DDoS and attack mitigation planning.
∎ Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with little supervision.
∎ Configure/manage/monitor all ISP, IIG, NIX and CDN infrastructure network equipment.
∎ Taking care of Traffic and any other queries raised by Customers/Partners.
∎ Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24x7 network support with zero unplanned network outages.
∎ Work closely with other networking groups (Within the organization and Vendors) to identify and resolve operational issues related to maintenance/troubleshooting and provide technical assistance during network outages.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both on a proactive, planned, project basis as well as a crisis/problem recovery situation.
∎ Must be detail-oriented, self-managing and team player.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and to maintain deadline
∎ Ability to work 24/7
∎ Strong Communication Skill
∎ Good presentation skills
∎ Good in English communication
