Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Update the management about any new development in the legislations, regulations or policies that may impact the business of the company and take necessary actions.
∎ Ensure compliance with regulatory legal requirements.
∎ Maintain communication and follow up with government/regulatory authorities, external consultants, law enforcement agencies, external law chambers etc., for ensuring legal compliance.
∎ Coordinate with various government agencies for investigation matters as required.
∎ Draft and/or vet contracts, agreements, MOUs, legal notices, replies, other notices, processes, trade letters, other letters as and when required.
∎ Conduct business negotiation with third parties conforming that the company’s legal interest is protected.
∎ Provide legal opinion to the company as and when required.ü Scrutinize legal documents and ensure that everything is in accordance with approved and prescribed formats.
∎ liaison and complete official tasks at different government offices as and when required by the company.
∎ Prepare and circulate official meeting minutes.
∎ Responsibly conduct all assigned tasks in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the line manager/department head.
