Job Responsibilities:
∎ Recruitment and selection
∎ Employee development and training
∎ Policy development and documentation
∎ Performance measurement and improvement system
∎ Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting
∎ Dispute resolution
∎ Statutory compliances
∎ Company- wide committee facilitation including planning, production and staff and board of directors , including arranging meeting and agendas, attending and minutes meeting
∎ Maintaining discipline & administration in the factory for workers
∎ Check daily attendance report of the workers & floor staffs, arrange production meeting
∎ Physical protection includes asset protection, workplace violence prevention, access control system, video surveillance with internal & external theft & threat
∎ Supervise workers welfare, factory repairing, emergency shipment escort duty
∎ To assist compliance department regarding safety issues
∎ Lead a team of compliance personnel in regularly inspecting multiple factory premises and proactively identifying all compliance lapses and taking measures for their rectification.
∎ Correspond with buyers and various compliance monitoring agencies as needed
∎ Assist to implement Bangladesh Labor Laws and related latest amendment, Factories Act, Fire prevention and Fire Fighting law and ILO Convention relevant to similar sector.
∎ Preparing, organizing and managing factory 24/7 following audits like, Social/ Environment/ Technical/ Fire & Safety/ Chemical Safety/ Building & Electrical Safety/ BSCI/ SEDEX/ WRAP/ C-TPAT/ ISO (QMS/ EMS/ OHSAS) and others certifications Audit.
∎ Handling all types of Social/ Environment/ Technical/ Fire & Safety/ Chemical Safety/ Building & Electrical Safety/ BSCI/ SEDEX/ WRAP/ C-TPAT/ ISO (QMS/ EMS/ OHSAS) and others certifications Audit.
∎ To implement corrective action plan (CAP) as per findings/observations/recommendation of concerned audit and submit the CAP to the audit team concerned timely and to follow up the same (CAP)
∎ Interact with factory floor personnel to prepare them for compliance audits and make them aware on maintaining better compliance standards.
