Experience:
Must have experience in programming, modification, and troubleshooting of Siemens PLC (TIA Portal) & WINCC SCADA.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ABB ACS880 VFD commissioning, parameter setting, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and automation systems
Proficient in industrial motors and power distribution systems
Experience with Reheating Furnace, Rolling Mill drives, and auxiliary equipment
Skilled in electrical drawing analysis, including SLD, GA, and schematics
Experience in BOQ preparation, vendor evaluation, and technical coordination
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must have the mindset to work in factory and project environments

To achieve this goal, we are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and technically sound Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager for the Electrical & Automation department. This role involves managing both ongoing plant operations and the implementation of new greenfield projects, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership skills. The position demands active involvement in system design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of complex electrical and automation systems to support continuous production.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute electrical and automation tasks for new plant and greenfield projects by planning, directing, and monitoring installation and commissioning to meet project goals.
Review electrical system designs and verify BOQs by carefully analyzing technical documents to ensure accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with standards.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities by guiding teams and validating processes to guarantee reliable system performance and safety.
Supervise the operation and troubleshooting of PLCs, VFDs, drives, motors, and automation systems by leading diagnostic efforts to minimize downtime and optimize production.
Conduct electrical breakdown and root cause analysis (RCA) by investigating faults and implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence and improve system reliability.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies by analyzing equipment condition and usage data to reduce failures and extend asset life.
Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards, SOPs, and regulations by enforcing policies and conducting safety audits to protect personnel and assets.
Lead new installations, system modifications, and capacity expansions by managing resources and schedules to support plant growth and technological upgrades.
Guide and develop Junior Engineers and Technicians by providing training, supervision, and feedback to build a skilled and motivated team.
Coordinate effectively with vendors, contractors, and project consultants by managing communications and technical requirements to achieve project objectives smoothly.
Maintain strong coordination with Production, Mechanical, and Management teams by facilitating collaboration and addressing cross-functional issues for uninterrupted operations.
