∎ Job Location: Khagrachari, CHT with frequent field visits
∎ Contract Type: Fixed Term (Project Duration)
∎ Reporting to: Project Manager
∎ Reporting and Staff Supervision: The Assistant Liaison Officer will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Project Officer - Liaison.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Implementation:
∎ Establish positive relationships with children, their parents/guardians, community leaders of the area where the child lives, the school the child attends, and relevant local agencies.
∎ Support parent/guardian of children with early signs of social, emotional, health or behavioural issues and work with them, school staff and other support agencies to prevent potential barriers to learning and support wellbeing.
∎ Work with children and their guardians to resolve issues and challenges which arise during project implementation and sensitise children's guardians and communities to their needs
∎ Work alongside teachers, parent/guardian and children to support individual children's learning and prevent barriers to learning - working together to set clear and measurable targets to enable engagement and progress. Targets will be reviewed with all stakeholders present at set times.
∎ Monitoring & Reporting:
∎ Take the lead in preparing assessments and other relevant reports for the purpose of support and lead necessary meetings with all stakeholders.
∎ Carry out home visits where appropriate to support families in encouraging their children to maintain full and regular attendance and punctuality.
∎ Maintain appropriate and confidential written records.
∎ Conduct reviews and assessments of all work being carried out and report as schedule.
∎ General:
∎ Participate in the performance and development review process and take personal responsibility for identifying training needs and opportunities in consultation with parent/guardians, community/school and other agencies.
∎ Carry out other tasks as reasonably requested by PM.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
∎ Candidateste having experience in child sponsorship programs will get preference
∎ Training in child protection/safaguarding and advantage
∎ Skills in using of MS Office
∎ Strong interpersonal skill
∎ Language Requirements:
∎ High skill in written, spoken, and translation in English and Bangla.
∎ Assessment: Evaluation of qualified candidates may include a written assessment exercise which may be followed by competency-based interview.
