Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. Engineering in CSE/ CS/ EEE/ Telecom from any recognized and reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
∎ Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications to resolve operational issues and restore services.
∎ Network performance analysis.
∎ Monitor and troubleshoot all computers and network resources.
∎ Supervise and lead any types of new network integration.
∎ Updates and implementations when needed for new technologies.
∎ Maintaining a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking (LAN) and Wireless LAN, WAN.
∎ Configuring and installing client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network system.
∎ Maintaining a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its working (DNS,DHCP, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, Spam etc.)
∎ Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators etc. to provide technical assistance and support.
∎ Ensure cost effective technical operation in hardware aspect.
∎ Ensure quick resolution of challenges.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Age limit may be relaxed for the highly experienced and competent candidates
∎ At least 08 years of proven working experience in IT sector, preferably in the university sector.
∎ The applicant must be CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certified with proven working experience in the related area.
∎ The applicant must have RedHat certification/course completion with related working experience.
∎ Must be proactive and able to execute tasks efficiently.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ Good interpersonal-communication skill to deal with people at all levels.
Salary:
∎ Salary Scale: 27,300-2,200x15-60,300 + other allowances + Technical Allowance equal to 4 yearly increments. Initial Gross Pay = Tk. 59,305.00.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Other Allowances mean 65% House Rent + 10% Conveyance + 10% Medical Allowance
∎ Higher initial pay may be offer to highly experienced and competent candidates.
∎ Provident Fund and any other benefits as per the University Law /practice.
