BIA GROUP is looking for creative, enthusiastic, and motivated Architectural & Interior Design Interns to join our professional team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for Architecture, Interior Design, and related discipline students or fresh graduates who want to gain practical industry experience in Interior Design, Space Planning, 2D & 3D Visualization, Working Drawings, Material Selection, Design Presentation, and Project Execution. The selected candidates will work with our Design, Project, and Management teams and will get hands-on exposure to real residential, commercial, corporate, and other interior projects.
Assist the Design & Development team in preparing interior design concepts, space planning, layouts, mood boards, furniture layouts, and design presentations. Assist in preparing 2D drawings, working drawings, furniture details, ceiling layouts, flooring layouts, elevation details, sections, and other project-related drawings under the supervision of senior team members. Support the team in preparing 3D models, interior visualizations, renders, presentation materials, and design revisions according to project requirements. Assist in selecting suitable materials, finishes, colors, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and other interior elements based on the design concept and project requirements. Participate in client meetings, design discussions, site visits, measurements, inspections, and project coordination activities when required. Communicate and coordinate with the Design, Project Execution, Procurement, and other relevant teams to support smooth implementation of approved designs. Assist in checking site conditions and understanding how design concepts and drawings are translated into actual execution. Prepare design updates, project documentation, presentation boards, and other relevant materials as assigned. Conduct research on current architectural and interior design trends, materials, products, furniture, lighting, and relevant design solutions. Maintain organized project files, drawings, reference materials, and design revisions. Support senior architects, interior designers, and project coordinators in day-to-day project activities. Perform other design and project-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Currently studying in or recently graduated from Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture & Interior Design, or a related discipline. Candidates at the final-year, internship, or fresh graduate level are strongly encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of architectural and interior design principles, space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, and design development. Basic knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva will be an advantage; proficiency in all software is not mandatory. Ability to understand and prepare basic technical drawings and design presentations. Creative mindset with good visual sense, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Good communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills. Positive attitude, professional behavior, punctuality, and willingness to work on real project requirements. Willingness to visit project sites and work in a practical project environment when required.
Candidates are encouraged to submit a portfolio containing academic projects, personal projects, studio work, 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, renders, furniture concepts, or any previous design work. Candidates without professional experience may also apply with academic or personal portfolios.
KPI/Performance-Based Honorarium: Eligible interns may receive a KPI/Performance-Based Honorarium according to assigned responsibilities, performance, contribution, and company policy.
TA/DA: TA/DA support may be provided for approved official assignments, project visits, client meetings, and other authorized work as per company policy.
Conveyance: Conveyance support may be provided for approved official outdoor activities, client visits, measurements, project site visits, and other assigned field responsibilities.
Lunch Subsidy: Eligible interns will receive lunch subsidy/support according to company policy.
Practical Industry Experience: Opportunity to work on real residential, commercial, corporate, and other interior design projects under experienced professionals.
Professional Mentorship: Practical guidance and learning opportunities from senior architects, interior designers, project coordinators, and other professionals.
Internship Completion Certificate: Upon successful completion of the internship, the intern will be eligible for an official Internship Completion Certificate, subject to company policy and performance requirements.
Experience Certificate: Successful interns may receive an official Experience Certificate upon completion of the internship and fulfillment of company requirements.
Reference / Recommendation Letter: Interns demonstrating strong performance, professionalism, discipline, and contribution may be considered for an official Reference or Recommendation Letter upon request and management approval.
