Job Context:
∎ iSocial (Infolady Social Enterprise Ltd.) is a social enterprise bridging marginalized communities and market through digital innovation and a last-mile delivery network. This entrepreneurship model is a dynamic one, which has won several prizes over the last few years and made a visible impact by bringing socio-economic changes to the lives of rural communities. Through partnership and support from the ICT Division and Department of ICT of Bangladesh Government, iSocial has taken initiative to spread its women micro merchant (Kallyani) initiative to 16 districts. The organization plans to deploy 10,000 Kallyanis across the nation by the end of 2021 - a bold step towards fulfilling the vision of Digital Bangladesh.
∎ Employment Status: Full Time, 5 Working Days. (Weekly 40 hours)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
∎ Work with outside data sources and APIs.
∎ Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
∎ Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
∎ Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
∎ Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information.
∎ Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications.
∎ Any other task assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years of professional job experience in Android App Development.
∎ Advanced analytical and mathematical skills.
∎ Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
∎ Proven working experience in Android app development
∎ Have published at least one original Android app.
∎ Having an eye on UI & UX is a plus.
∎ Flutter experience is a plus.
∎ Need to have automated testing experience (TDD or any other methodology).
∎ Must have experience with OOP, Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, Gradle, ProGear and GIT/SVN, Unit Testing
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 45000 (Monthly)
