Key Job Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting and implementing the bank’s Sustainable Finance Policy in compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
Monitor updates in sustainability regulations, industry best practices, and ESG reporting frameworks.
Evaluate green loan applications and assess the feasibility of sustainability-linked credit facilities.
Analyze project viability, environmental and social risks, and climate impact for financing renewable energy, waste management, eco-friendly manufacturing, and low-carbon infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with the Credit Risk team to integrate ESG risk factors into loan underwriting and portfolio management.
Prepare sustainable finance reports for submission to Bangladesh Bank in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Track and document green loan disbursements, impact metrics, and climate risk assessments.
Conduct post-financing impact assessments to measure the effectiveness of sustainable finance initiatives.
Assist in developing sustainability-linked financial products (e.g., Green Bonds, Sustainability-Linked Loans (SLLs), and Climate Resilience Loans).
Support Relationship Managers (RMs) and Credit Analysts by providing technical insights on ESG risks and sustainable investment opportunities.
Assist in organizing workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and industry events on sustainable finance.
