Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the company. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying potential risks, and devising strategies to optimize the supply chain.
∎ Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on factors such as quality, cost, reliability, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
∎ Oversee the procurement and management of materials, equipment, and supplies required for construction projects. Maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize stakeouts and excess inventory costs.
∎ To ensure on time yarn & RMG accessories for smooth production process.
∎ Coordinate the transportation and logistics activities involved in delivering materials and equipment to construction sites. This includes planning transportation routes, managing shipping schedules, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods.
∎ Implement quality control measures to ensure that materials and equipment meet the required standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and audits of incoming materials to verify quality and compliance with contractual requirements.
∎ Monitor and control costs associated with the supply chain, including procurement expenses, transportation costs, and inventory carrying costs. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
∎ Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality issues. Develop contingency plans to address potential risks and minimize their impact on construction projects.
∎ Collaborate with other departments within the organization, such as project management, engineering, and finance, to ensure alignment and coordination of supply chain activities with overall project requirements and objectives.
∎ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain operations. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
∎ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the supply chain processes, streamline operations, and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
