Education:
∎ Bachelor/Honors, Masters
∎ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

∎ At most 50 years of age.
∎ Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, materials, trims, and production timelines.
∎ Proven ability to manage large order volumes and multiple buyers simultaneously.
∎ Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP/MIS systems, and T&A tools.
∎ Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of buyer-specific terminology preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and monitor the factory merchandising team to ensure timely and accurate execution of orders.
∎ Manage pre-production meetings and ensure all approvals (e.g., trims, fabric, lab dips, PP samples) are in place before production starts.
∎ Ensure adherence to buyer compliance standards and product specifications throughout the production process.
∎ Work as a bridge between merchandising and production to align production schedules with order deliveries.
∎ Resolve issues related to trims, fabrics, and production delays promptly.
∎ Ensure the factory floor has all necessary information (tech packs, BOMs, measurement sheets) to execute orders efficiently.
∎ Supervise, train, and develop factory merchandisers and coordinators.
∎ Assign responsibilities and track performance, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
∎ Promote cross-functional collaboration to drive results.
∎ Maintain direct communication with buyers or their representatives during visits or virtual meetings.
∎ Provide regular updates and status reports on order progress, highlighting any potential risks or delays
