The Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Sales & Marketing will be responsible for driving the company’s sales performance and ensuring profitability by planning, executing, and overseeing sales and marketing strategies. This role involves setting and achieving sales targets, forecasting market trends, and implementing nationwide sales plans aligned with business goals. The AGM will lead and develop a high-performing sales team, maintain strong relationships with clients and distribution channels, and ensure effective coordination with production and other key departments. The incumbent will play a critical role in analyzing market intelligence, preparing reports for senior management, and continuously optimizing sales operations through strategic planning and the development of policies, SOPs, and performance standards.
Context:
Responsible for profit and loss.
Planning, Forecasting, and Setting Sales Target and Sales Strategy.
Prepare Sales & Marketing plan for all over the country and ensure its proper implementation, aligning with present & future business needs.
Collecting, compiling market intelligence report, and sharing it with The Management.
Conduct Weekly update and progress meeting with The Management.
Distribute Target and Achieve Sales Target, ensuring collection.
Communication and Coordination with all distribution & Production teams.
Develop sales team members by learning, inspiring, motivating, and encouraging for better performance, reviewing team and self-daily activities.
Lead and monitor the Sales Team and evaluate their regular and annual performances.
Set guidelines for optimum achievement of Sales and introduce new techniques & ideas to the sales force for promoting their products & improving their sales skills.
Keep communication with existing clients of the company and coordinate with dealers.
Review National Sales (daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly) and submit all reports to management.
Develop necessary SOPs, Policies
