Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Develop and improve QC systems to meet international standards and company specifications.
Ensure quality of sewing, finishing, and packing according to customer requirements.
Coordinate with buyers on major quality-related issues.
Identify quality problems and implement preventive and corrective actions.
Monitor quality performance and coordinate with audit and pre-inspection teams.
Control and manage the quality budget as per company plans.
Analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish quality standards.
Review daily quality reports and implement corrective actions.
Supervise subcontracted garment production and ensure quality compliance.
Maintain effective communication with merchandising, production, planning, CAD, and other departments.
Ensure workplace safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards.
Develop training materials and conduct regular training sessions.
Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, zero non-conformities, and support staff development.
