Educational Requirements:
∎ BSC in Industrial Engineering or Textile Engineering from any reputed Public University/Private University
∎ Masters in any discipline is preferable
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure an accurate and optimal capacity plan
∎ Analyze and report to sales team and management regarding availability of open capacity
∎ Analyze and advise to sales team on the lead time of new and potential orders
∎ Receive the confirmed order details from merchandizing and prepare a TNA
∎ Verifying and clarifying all planning and loading related problems and subsequently informing the relevant departments and taking measures to apply the best solutions
∎ Prepare effective line-wise production planning of the confirmed orders based on realistic input dates, confirmed delivery dates, line efficiency and product intricacy
∎ Closely follow up the scheduling of raw material to meet production schedules
∎ Follow up and monitor pre-production events
∎ Prepare and follow-up the schedule of preparation of production samples and the schedule of sample review meetings
∎ Ensure implementation of production plan through liaise with the production team
∎ Prepare daily production report and monitor production output
∎ Review production plan from time-to-time with actual performance and take necessary steps accordingly
∎ Raise alarm to the management for any issue that may lead to an undesirable situation
∎ Analyze and evaluate production performance and factory efficiency.
∎ Prepare, maintain and circulate the production reports for the customers according to customer format
∎ Build and maintain productive relationship with merchandising, production and other relevant teams
∎ Effectively conduct meetings with the different departments to achieve the objective and to do trouble-shooting
∎ Facilitate the management of the Work-in-Progress (WIP)
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of resources
∎ Engage in smart planning to reduce change-over time
∎ Prepare the necessary documents for the management review meetings
∎ Any others tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Should be experienced in woven tops and woven bottoms.
∎ Strong leadership, team management, problem solving and multi-tasking skill and knowledge.
∎ Suggested to have good knowledge of IE Principles including SMV, GSD, and LEAN Manufacturing
∎ Must have experience of working with software.
∎ Must have the ability to supervise and inspire team members without conflict.
∎ Good writing and spoken communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within given time-frame
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills
∎ Honesty and open mind
∎ Good team player with Leadership Quality,
∎ Obedient
∎ Strong yet pleasant personality
∎ Self-Motivated
∎ Sufficient knowledge & skills in computing like, excel, power point, software, MS word etc.
∎ Good mailing communication skill
