Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters or Bachelor degree in relative subject.
∎ BGMEA University of Fashion Technology,Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology students will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing new styles keeping in view the trend and change in demands of the international market.
∎ Forecasting and developing innovative ideas which would be acceptable to multinational brand.
∎ Preparing arrangement prior to Customer visits by researching Customer Background, Trends, Quality Requirements, Price Point, etc. and Accordingly, Articulate the Presentation During Customer Visit
∎ Sourcing Client-Suitable Fabrics and Managing Fabric Development Process.
∎ Ensuring the preparation of range plan and product mix with full color sketches showing all styles and suggested color in coordination with marketing, sales and operation for planned season.
∎ Providing Sample Development Support to Merchandising.
∎ Sample Costing.
∎ Developing strategy for private label and sub brand product.
∎ Visiting textiles, trade fair, store and market fashion shows and in order to collect information on trends and special focus on color, fabric and garment design.
∎ Ensuring visual display and window display done in accordance with theme and product inspiration.
∎ Generating concept and mood boards (a collection of items to capture a mood, such as photos, fabric pieces and color samples).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in Woven or Knit.
∎ Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to create and lead a team-based environment;
∎ Experience in a highly automated fulfillment environment is preferred; Should have experience in Graphic design & CAD/CAM management
∎ Demonstrated abilities in process improvement of garments management;
∎ Report presentation skill and interpersonal skill;
∎ Excellent communication skill both written and speaking in English;
∎ Any professional degree in apparel manufacturing will be an added advantage.
∎ Preference will be given if having experience with the following buyers: INDITEX, PVH, NEXT, M&S, Reputed US market brands etc.
