Job Context:
We are seeking a motivated and articulate individual to fill a dual role of Academic Counsellor and Telesales Executive. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and possesses excellent communication and persuasion skills. You will be the first point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through their educational choices while also promoting our courses to achieve enrolment targets.
1. Job Description: Academic Counsellor
The Academic Counsellor is responsible for providing end-to-end guidance and support to prospective students, helping them make informed decisions about their academic future at IQF International College.
Student Consultation:
Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective students via phone, video call, email, and live chat.
Understand students' academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and personal circumstances to recommend suitable courses and programs.
Academic Guidance:
Provide detailed information about course curriculum, duration, fee structure, entry requirements, and potential career outcomes.
Explain the UK education system, qualification frameworks, and the benefits of studying at IQF International College.
Admissions Support:
Guide students through the entire application and enrolment process.
Assist students with understanding the documentation required for admission.
Liaise with the admissions department in the UK to ensure a smooth and seamless onboarding process for students.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective students and their parents.
Provide follow-up support to ensure student queries are resolved promptly and satisfactorily.
Target Achievement:
Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly enrolment targets set by the management.
2. Responsibilities: Telesales Executive
The Telesales component focuses on proactive outreach to generate leads and convert them into enrolled students.
Outbound Calls:
Make outbound calls to a database of potential leads (provided by the company) to introduce IQF International College's programs.
Generate new leads through cold calling and other lead generation techniques.
Sales Pitch and Conversion:
Effectively communicate the unique selling points (USPs) of our courses and the college.
Persuade potential students about the value of enrolling and overcome objections to secure applications.
Follow-up:
Conduct consistent and timely follow-ups with leads via phone, email, and SMS to move them through the sales funnel.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputed university.
A background in Education, English, Communication, or Business is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
At least 1 to 3 year(s) of experience in a similar role, such as:
Student Counsellor / Education Counsellor
Admission Advisor
Telesales Executive / Telemarketer
Customer Support Representative (in an educational or service-oriented industry)
Freshers are also encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a strong desire to build a career in educational sales.
Additional Requirements:
Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory (both written and verbal).
Strong phone presence and confidence in making outbound calls.
Empathetic, patient, and a good listener.
Target-driven with a proven ability to work under pressure.
Tech-savvy with good knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
Must have a personal computer/laptop and a stable, high-speed internet connection.
Understanding of the UK education system will be considered a significant advantage.
