Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Utilize expertise to evaluate current and new technologies for effectiveness and potential incorporation in the manufacturing process.
∎ Identify and partner with plant operations teams to deliver annual productivity improvement targets.
∎ Formally and informally lead the production and technical teams in initiatives that enhance the product attributes, quality and lower operating costs.
∎ Serve as liaison among production, R&D and marketing teams regarding production planning, new product/design introduction and resolving dealer/customer issues.
∎ Coordinate with production and technical teams to drive process improvement projects.
∎ Meet budgeted financial objectives and operational metrics to ensure manufacturing excellence and productivity.
∎ Ensure effective team management, review SOP's and implement lean and other quality control measures for maximum productivity.
∎ Comply with any other duties and responsibilities to be assigned to you by the management from time to time.
