∎ We are looking for a WordPress developer with WooCommerce expertise, including creating WordPress themes and plugins and e-commerce marketplace-related technology, as well as potential new future web development.
∎ This position requires a combination of programming skills and e-commerce marketplace related technology. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
∎ Design and implement website layouts and user interfaces
∎ Integrate third-party services and APIs into WordPress sites
∎ Troubleshoot and debug website issues
∎ Perform website maintenance and updates
∎ Manage website backups and security
∎ Optimize website performance and search engine rankings
∎ Develop custom WooCommerce themes and extensions
∎ Set up and configure WooCommerce stores
∎ Integrate payment gateways and shipping methods into WooCommerce sites
∎ Manage products, orders, and customer data in WooCommerce
∎ Troubleshoot and debug WooCommerce-related issues
∎ Optimize WooCommerce performance and user experience
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Collaborate with clients or team members to understand their needs and requirements
∎ Communicate project progress and updates
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and best practices
∎ Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
∎ Experience with WordPress core, plugins, themes, popular WooCommerce plugins such as WooCommerce Subscriptions, WooCommerce Bookings, and WooCommerce Memberships
∎ Familiarity with website design, development tools, software, e-commerce best practices, web analytics and conversion optimization tools for WooCommerce
∎ Knowledge of WooCommerce hooks and filters
∎ Understanding of sales and marketing strategies for e-commerce businesses
∎ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills specific to e-commerce challenges
∎ Familiarity with web analytics and conversion optimization tools for WooCommerce
∎ Good communication and teamwork skills
∎ Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
