As a Front-End Developer at Brillmark, you will play a crucial role in crafting responsive and visually appealing web applications. You will be responsible for translating design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, interactive web pages while ensuring optimal performance and usability. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation will be key to your success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ HTML/CSS Development: Write clean, semantic HTML and CSS code to create visually appealing and responsive web pages.
∎ SCSS: Utilize SCSS to streamline and organize stylesheets efficiently.
∎ JavaScript: Develop interactive features and enhance user experiences using JavaScript and jQuery.
∎ DOM Manipulation: Demonstrate expertise in manipulating the Document Object Model (DOM) to create dynamic web applications.
∎ Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure consistent functionality and appearance across different browsers and devices.
∎ Optimization: Optimize web applications for performance and speed, improving load times and user experience.
∎ Collaboration: Collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and other team members to deliver cohesive and visually appealing web solutions.
∎ Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues promptly.
∎ Responsive Design: Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless experiences on various screen sizes.
∎ Code Quality: Maintain high coding standards, code reusability, and best practices.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS.
∎ Extensive experience with SCSS.
∎ Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery.
∎ Solid understanding of DOM manipulation.
∎ Familiarity with responsive design principles.
∎ Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and web performance optimization.
∎ Attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
∎ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
∎ Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
∎ Understanding of SEO principles.
∎ Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG).
∎ Familiarity with WordPress and Shopify
