Job Context:
∎ We`re looking for a motivated and innovative WordPress Developer to join our team. We`re a family of passionate, innovative, and friendly team members.
∎
∎ As a WordPress Theme Developer, you will be responsible for developing WordPress themes while replying to support tickets and troubleshooting theme issues. You`ll work with our development and design teams to create amazing, responsive websites in WordPress from scratch and have the opportunity to grow your skills at the same time.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining existing WordPress themes and handling support tickets
∎ Developing WordPress themes for marketplaces like ThemeForest, and WordPress.org
∎ Maintain existing plugins and fix bugs and add new features.
∎ Integrating and setting up plugins like WPML, WooCommerce, Membership, etc.
∎ Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
∎ Optimizing page speed of WordPress sites
∎ Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in WordPress sites
∎ Strong knowledge of WordPress Platform
∎ Experience in WordPress Custom Theme Development
∎ Experience in WordPress Plugin Integration (WooCommerce, WPML, Membership plugins, etc.)
∎ Experience with ReactJS/AngularJS
∎ Common WordPress Troubleshooting and Debugging
∎ Solid understanding of WordPress Action/Hooks and its API's
∎ Solid understanding of WordPress Theme unit test
∎ Understanding of WP architecture and knowledge on performing database and code optimization for WordPress
∎ A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
∎ Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
∎ Understanding of W3C Web Standards/Semantics and Accessibility Guidelines
∎ Working with version control systems such as GIT
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience with WooCommerce
∎ Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JavaScript
∎ Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and AJAX
∎ Ability to work on LAMP development environment
∎ Excellent written skills in English
∎ Great attention to detail, highly organized
∎ Positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly
∎ Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
∎ Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
∎ Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them
∎ Take ownership of any task/project assigned
∎ Handling multiple projects at the same time
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 40000 (Monthly)
