Job Responsibilities:
∎ Encourage the formation of various Committees and Joint Production Committees, Cooperative Societies, Participation Committee and Welfare Committees of the workers and supervise their activities.
∎ Focus on various facilities such as canteen, restroom, children's center, adequate toilet facilities, drinking water, etc.
∎ To assist the workers in granting paid leave and to inform the workers about any leave and other rules and regulations.
∎ Focus on labor welfare issues like housing, food, social and recreational facilities in any organization of fair price in cooperative societies, health care system, and education opportunities for children, etc.
∎ Seek and recommend for the improvement of the working and living standards of the workers and their welfare.
∎ Advising the authorities to provide training to new workers, to improve the quality of education of workers and to encourage and nominate them to join training in technical institutes.
∎ Provide necessary assistance and advice to the management authorities and workers in the implementation of the provisions of the law in the organization.
∎ Maintain contact with the medical officer of the factory or organization for the maximum medical benefit of the workers.
∎ Take steps to strengthen labor-employer relations & take swift action to resolve disputes between employers and workers.
∎ Discussions with employers and workers' representatives on wage and employment conditions.
∎ Understand the views of the workers and to assist the employers and workers in resolving their differences.
∎ Gather grievance report of workers, individual and collective to secure their prompt feedback from management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge of Labor Law.
∎ Knowledge of social compliance, Disciplinary practice.
∎ Must have sound knowledge in MS Office.
∎ Excellent Communication skill.
