Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure a safe, healthy, and positive work environment for all employees.·
∎ To counsel the absentee workers and identify the root cause.
∎ Organize health camps, awareness programs, and training sessions on worker rights, safety, and hygiene.
∎ Monitor workers' facilities (canteen, restroom, drinking water, childcare, medical services) to ensure compliance with labor laws.
∎ Promote employee well-being by addressing concerns related to wages, safety, and working conditions.
∎ serve as a bridge between workers and management to resolve grievances.
∎ Conduct regular meetings with WPC and Safety committee to understand and address their concerns.
∎ Maintain grievance registers and ensure timely resolution of worker complaints.
∎ Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law 2006, Labor Rules (2015), EPZ Labor Law (2019), EPZ Rules 2022, ILO standards, and buyer requirements.
∎ Maintain records of employee grievances, welfare activities, and compliance reports.
∎ Assist in onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
∎ Provide counseling to workers on personal and professional issues.
∎ Conduct training on workplace ethics, gender equality, and anti-harassment policies.
