Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead WASH team in Cox's Bazar district and ensure appropriate, timely and quality WASH program that are in line with the ACF policies, WASH Sector requirements and International standards.
∎ Ensure coordination with other departments (Health & Nutrition, Food security livelihoods & DRR, Mental Health & Care Practice and Gender based Violence, Communications with Community etc.) and ensure appropriate integrated service delivery.
∎ Work closely with other departments (Logistics, finance, partnership, Audit and compliance, HR and grants) for efficient and timely delivery of program that are in line with organizational policy.
∎ Work closely with WASH Sector and other relevant coordination platforms through appropriate representation of ACF.
∎ Implement Action Against Hunger policies, positioning and strategies in the mission
∎ Ensure WASH program adhere to ACF's MEAL plans and promote culture of learning, capitalizing the learnings and Innovations.
∎ Function 01: Provide technical leadership to WASH program and team in Cox's Bazar.
∎ Ensuring and monitoring all WaSH activities timely
∎ Provide recommendations and advice for the successful conduct of WaSH activities in Cox's Bazar
∎ Develop the tools needed to monitor and implement activities in Cox's bazar and implement indicators
∎ Define and inform SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time constrained) indicators of objectives, results and monitoring of activities for WASH projects.
∎ Ensure the capitalization of WASH experiences in Cox's Bazar
∎ Ensures respect and implementation of technical standards within projects
∎ Manage the internal and external evaluations of the Water, Hygiene and Sanitation projects (ToR, timing and costs)
∎ Function 02: WASH strategy
∎ Actively participate and contribute to WASH strategy development in line with ACF's National WASH program strategy.
∎ Actively participate in new project development that are in line with the national strategy
∎ Actively participate and promote ACF's WASH Strategy at coordination forums and during project implementations
∎ Function 03: Coordination and representation of WASH program at appropriate forums
∎ Actively participate and represent ACF into WASH Sector Coordination forums at Cox's Bazar district level.
∎ Coordinate closely with District WASH authorities proactively and strengthen ACF's working relation with relevant authorities in the programmed areas.
∎ Represent ACF WASH program during the other stakeholder's visits to ACF program areas. This includes donor visits and other official visits.
∎ Function 04: Strengthen ACF's WASH program by ensuring program quality
∎ Promote and ensure program quality and timely response through strengthening the quality WASH service delivery.
∎ Assess and strengthen WASH team capacity through continuous coaching, mentoring and trainings
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of experience including 2 years with similar capacity as WASH Coordinator
∎ Experience of working in Cox's Bazar district
∎ Technical skills related to WASH (Water supply, Sanitation and Hygiene promotions is a must
∎ Coordination skills
∎ Management (project management, donor reporting and construction management) skills
∎ WASH planning skills
Salary: Tk. 187000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 2 month Basic salary every year;
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary;
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year vary from performance ;
∎ End of Contract Benefits -up to 2 months' Gross salary.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
∎ 18 days of paid annual leaves per year;
∎ 10 days of paid casual leaves per year;
∎ 15 days of paid sick leaves per year.
∎ Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge;
∎ Technical trainings at HQ Paris or regional level (averagely 1 per year);
∎ Participation to external trainings.
