Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or relevant discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• At least 3 years

• Age At most 40 years

3–5 years of experience in community mobilization and capacity building, preferably in the handicraft sector.

 Practical experience working with women artisans and community groups.

 Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.

 Community engagement and group management skills.

 Cultural sensitivity and participatory approach.

 Good documentation and reporting skills.

 Ability to work in field-based settings.

Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement CHARKA: Women Entrepreneurs Empowering Women Project supported by EDUCO. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff for this leadership position from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.

Job Responsibility:

 Mobilize women artisans and producers into organized groups.

 Facilitate group sessions, meetings, and workshops with artisans and their families.

 Design and conduct capacity-building activities for skill development and livelihood improvement.

 Coordinate with designers and production teams to align training with production needs.

 Build relationships with community leaders and local stakeholders.

 Document community activities, progress, and lessons learned.

 Support social inclusion, gender equity, and participation of women artisans.

 Follow the organization's Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Gender, Whistle Blowing and other Policies.

Consolidated Tk. 27,692 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
