Job Purpose

  • To support the successful graduation of ultra-poor participants from extreme poverty by implementing field-level programme interventions and providing regular coaching, follow-up, and service linkage. The role contributes to sustainable livelihoods, improved well-being, and increased resilience of participants through effective enterprise support, social development activities, and compliance with programme standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select the targeted programme participants and appropriate enterprise option as an Income Generating Activities (IGAs) for them following the programme guideline in order to enroll into the programme.

  • Provide enterprise development training, asset purchase and transfer, interest free loan disbursement, input distribution to the UPG participants as per programme guideline.

  • Collect instalment and savings as per programme rules and regulations timely from the programme participants and manage financial transaction on time.

  • Provide hands on coaching to the participants through home visit in order to build the enterprise related technical skills and enhance their soft skills to lift them from the extreme poverty level.

  • Provide education on different health, hygine and social issues to the programme participants through group visit in order to increase their awareness and boost up their confidence.

  • Identify health requirements of the programme participants along with their family members to ensure the healthcare services following the programme guideline.

  • Continuous follow up, supervision, close monitoring and progress analysis of enterprise and the programme participants in order to graduate them from the extreme poverty level within the programme cycle.

  • Develop different MIS reports, proper documentation and follow administrative rules of programme and organisation.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
