Job Context:
∎ WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE (WaSH) DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER will
∎ support program manager to do the management activities according to plan.
∎ DURATION:30th June, 2020
∎ START DATE: ASAP
∎ CONTRACT TYPE: FIXED TERM
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 01:
∎ Ensure harmonization and updating of data collection using (Global Positioning System) GPS, data entry and prepare map using (Geographic information system) GIS.
∎ Assess continuously the projects' follow-up methods and propose improvements.
∎ Participate in the analysis and drafting of the activity and evaluation reports to the WaSH Manager.
∎ To organize the field activities (planning and logistics).
∎ To ensure the quality of required material and ensure the quality of work.
∎ To make sure that the technical activities are performed as per the provided design and up to the Action Contre La Faim (ACF) standards.
∎ To visit regularly the field activities and participate in the assessment.
∎ To guide the communities as well as staffs in terms of use and maintenance of the facilities.
∎ Objective 02:
∎ Support the good communication between the Govt. organizations/ bodies/ different organizations/local stakeholders and management ACF teams.
∎ Ensure the professional communication with the contractor and ensure the qualitative implementation work in the field levels.
∎ Ensure the strong presence of ACF in coordination level.
∎ Support to Manager in participating in internal and external coordination meetings. Objective 03:
∎ Develop action plans and strategy to conduct activities and participate in the recruiting process.
∎ Strength Weakness Opportunity & Threat SWOT analysis of the field team and organizing/ facilitating required training in base level.
∎ Support the Manager in supervising field staffs in their day by day activities for the project implementation. Objective 04:
∎ Ensure communication is open between communities and ACF staffs and that feedback from people is reported to Manager.
∎ Defining the approach with Camp In Charge, respective govt. dept., local stakeholders, other organizations and Local Government Institutions.
∎ Focusing on approaches that create community demand, change community behaviors and are based on community participation.
∎ Proper documentation of the received and delivered materials in the field level.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years proven experience in the construction and or in WaSH sector.
∎ 3 years proven technical engineering experience in the field.
∎ Proven experience of developing mapping using GIS/relevant software.
∎ Proven experience in team management and training facility.
∎ Experience in Information Education Communication/ Behavior change communication (IEC/ BCC) materials development and AutoCAD design.
∎ Familiar with SPHINX or related statistic software will be added value for the position.
∎ Good knowledge of the geography, its local context, customs and culture.
∎ Ability to cope with emotionally demanding situations.
Salary:
∎ Gross monthly Salary BDT 93,699/
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year vary from performants
∎ End of Contract Benefits - as per organizational policy
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year)
∎ 18 days of paid annual leaves per year
